Have you just joined us here on PoW?  Well, come on in and introduce yourself!  We want to get to know more about you, so let us hear it!

PoW Contests

Wondering if there’s a contest being held on PoW?  This is the place to find out!  In here you will find both PoW’s current and past contests.  Also, you can find the names of the winners of each contest along with the work they did to become the winner.

Prose

So, you’re a writer?  Need a place to put your stories?  Why not here?  This is the section of PoW where you can write and store your stories, both original and fandoms.  If you would like someone to look over your work, feel free to have it analyzed!

Poetry & Song Writing

Do you like to write poetry, music, or both?  Here’s a place where you can store them.  If you would like to get some critique on them, feel free to put your work into the “analysis” section!

Journals

Have something on your mind you just want to get out?  Then create a journal!  Journals are for your personal use.  You can talk about whatever you like, and you have the choice of allowing people to comment or not to comment.  Please only keep one journal.

Character Files

Need a place to store your characters?  Put them on in here!  Please only one character file per-person.

Interest Check

Have a plot in mind that you want to get out there?  Wondering if someone would be interested in a specific role-play you have?  Or are you just looking for a partner or two to brainstorm with about a certain role-play topic?  Put it here in the interest check.  See who may be interested before you start an OOC or IC thread!  This is also where you can figure out what level your role-play will be.

Beginner Role-Plays

Are you new to role-playing?  Or maybe you just don’t like to make long posts.  Well, this is the place for you!  Here in the beginner role-play section, you’re only required to write one paragraph per post!  You can build up your role-playing skills here, or relax from writing four or six paragraphs per post!

Casual Role-Plays

So, you’re pretty good at role-playing.  But you don’t think you’re as advanced as the advance lits.  But, you want a little more than what the beginners provide.  So, why not something in the middle?  This is the Causal role-play section for those of you who fall right in the middle.  This is also a place for the advance lits to take a break from novel like posts and beginners to push themselves a little more.

Advance Role-Plays

So you’ve mastered the beginner’s level and you’re slowly surpassing the casual level.  What do you do now?  Come to the Advance Literate section!  Here you can push yourself to the max.  If you like to write at least six paragraphs per post, this is where you want to be!  But don’t forget, there’s always room for improvement, so going back to the beginner’s or casual level will never hurt, but will help you!

Art Gallery

Do you like to draw or paint?  Would you like a place to showcase your work?  Here’s a place for you to do it!  Post your art gallery here.  Would you like to get commission for work you do for other?  Post samples of your work and your rates in the Artist for Hire section!

Photo Gallery

If you like to take photos, this is the place you want to be.  Here you can showcase your photography.  Even if you aren’t a photographer feel free to put pictures of that you have taken!

Other Arts

This section is for other forms of art.  Whether it is discussion about performing arts, crafting, or even your cosplay it can be found here!  Feel free to share your different works of other art with us within.  We’d love to see and hear about them!

General Conversation

Here you can talk about whatever you like.  Have something to celebrate?  Let us know!  Something interesting happen in your life?  We want to hear it!  Have a bad day and you just need someone to lift you up?  We want to be your shoulder to cry on and the ever listening ears.  Come on in so we can talk!

Entertainment

Movies, video games, books, oh my!  In the entertainment section you can talk about anything you find entertaining.  Share tips for video games, or opinions of books and movies!

Games

I want to play a game.  Inside you will find different forum games.  Want to play truth or dare?  Go for it.  How about ban a member or two?  Let’s do it!  All sorts of games can be found inside.
