Profession: Bounty Hunter
Personality: Alita is cold and distant at best. It's like she's shut down; there's someone in there, but they can't be reached. This is useful in her line of profession, but has severely limited her social life. She only has two friends, if they can even be called that, but she doesn't mind. She's tough and independent, and knows her way around a gun, though she prefers knives.
History: Alita was raised by her godparents along with their son, who was the same age. Their son, Damien, and Alita grew up the best of friends, but Damien was a sick child. Born with a weak immune system, it wasn't uncommon for simple colds to hospitalize him. Alita took it upon herself to be his "caretaker," as well as friend and adoptive sister. When they were in their late teens, their friendship took a turn for the better, and they tentatively began dating. But when Damien died suddenly, Alita took it hard. She blamed herself and couldn't get over it. She became withdrawn and empty. One day, researching in the library for a school project, she came across some interesting information about something called the "philosopher's stone," and it's rejuvenating properties. After further research convinced her it was real, she went in search of it, becoming a bounty hunter in the process. It's been five years, and she's still searching. But she's getting closer every day.
Likes: Apples, knives, guns, leads on the stone and fine wine.
Dislikes: Music, liars, seers, the effect fine wine has on her, and people trying to get her to "open up" to them.
Quirks/Secrets: Alita is a seer, something she inherited from her grandmother. In her world, seers are considered Devil's spawn and are hunted down without mercy. Thus she keeps it her most jealously guarded secret.

Personality: Blue is the ideal happy-go-lucky new age hippie kid with a healthy weird streak. She's got spirit and is not afraid to show it. She's always cheerful and confident, and will start up a conversation with anyone, any time. She does get sad every now and then when she sees people being mean or rude, and littering bothers her, but whenever she gets sad she just turns on some happy pop techno music and dances around to it. Even in public. Nothing makes her happier than her music.
History: Blue's parents were hippies. Upon meeting Blue, most people think it's a nickname because of her hair color, when in reality, she dyed her hair to match her name on a whim. Blue's mom named her that because it was her favorite color at the time, something that changes weekly. Blue as raised in an incense-soft music-vegetarian-hemp jewelry-and hand sown clothing home where she was taught to love animals, respect the Earth and to be kind to her neighbors. She was home schooled up until her freshman year of high school, which was beyond her parent's ability to teach. She loves her school and friends, and is looking forward to learning to drive next year, something neither of her parents learned to do.
Likes: Furry animals, sunny days, open fields with green grass and little flowers, fruity teas, pop-techno-happy music, cloud watching, and meeting new people.
Dislikes: Litter, seeing animals hurt or dead in the road, the sound balloons make when they pop, the smell of cooking bacon, reality TV shows.
Quirks/Secrets: Blue cannot go to sleep at night without the stuffed rabbit her dad gave her on her first birthday.

Profession: Whatever job she can secure at the time.
Personality: Leah is sarcastic, moody and bitter, and is willing to bet she'll scare anyone who approaches her off with the first words out of her mouth. She has a horrible temper, but is very good at keeping it from getting out of hand. She like to be left alone, thank you, and doesn't have much interest in friends. She has her agenda, and won’t let anyone get in her way.
History: No one would know it by looking at her, but she's no where near as young as she seems. Leah was actually an accomplished thief at one point, as well as a fully grown adult. Ten years after she'd retired from her "career," the government finally caught up with her. Because of just how famous and accomplished she had been, a simple trial and jail sentence wasn't enough. She's stolen government secrets, after all! So they held a trial, and had a mock execution, but really Leah wasn't killed. She was placed in a secret government-run testing facility where they experimented with her DNA. Her memories of that time are a little fuzzy, but she vaguely remembers a baby panther brought in at one point. By the time she finally escaped, she was no longer old, her eyes were a different color, and she was stronger, faster, more dexterous and all around fitter than she had ever been before. Now she's in hiding.
Likes: Coffee, undercooked hamburgers, sunglasses, running, sunlight and warm summer days.
Dislikes: People, hyperactive dogs, cold weather, rain, and being "talked down to" because of her size and gender.
Quirks/Secrets: She's a bit of a kleptomaniac. It's more habit than anything else, really.

Personality: Mita is quiet and self-composed when around those she does not know well. When she’s around her small circle of friends or her uncle, she changes completely into a vocal and passionately opinionated girl. She can’t stand it when she is babied because of her eyesight or her diminutive stature, and she will reprimand people (often harshly) for treating her so. If someone close to her mistakenly does so, she will not hesitate to tell them off.
History: Mita’s mother brought her to America shortly after birth to start a new life away from her recently deceased father. Her mother is a legal consultant, working from home to be close to her daughter. Her uncle, an archaeologist, visits as often as he can to entertain his niece with adventure stories, filling her with a lust for life that shows through in her energetic personality. He inspired her from an early age to make more of her life, no matter what. Her mother, overprotective and sheltering, did not approve when, at the age of five, her uncle brought her a music book from Italy for her birthday, but could not ignore her daughter’s insistent pleas for voice lessons. Her lessons began when she was five years and six months old. She hopes to attend the Curtis Institute of Music one day.
Likes: Classical music, pianos, violins, chocolate milk, cool post-rainy days, kittens, singing, playing the piano.
Dislikes: Missed notes, broken strings, dogs, noisy crowded places, people stepping on her or tripping her, people treating her like she's "fragile."
Quirks/Secrets: Mita has ocular albinism. Her eyes don't have enough melanin, and during the fetal and infant stages of her life this caused abnormal development of the macular hypoplasia (the fovea in the retina), as well as abnormal nerve connections between the brain and her eyes. She is considered legally blind, but her eyesight varies day to day.

She's not afraid to initiate a fight, and actually can take down most of her guy friends. She's not afraid to play dirty to win, though.
History: Nikkie was brought to America when she was ten years old. Her father moved her whole family there when he got a new job as the head of a water filtering company. She had an average upbringing with her loving parents.

Personality: Reeny is the epitome of friendliness. She is cheerful and open and compassionate to a fault. She's protective of those she cares for, kind to strangers, and is even polite to those who dislike her. She is perpetually curious creature with a knack for telling when someone needs something, be it quiet avoidance, a friendly wave, or even a shoulder to cry on. She is heartfelt and honest, with nothing bad to say about anyone or anything. Her easy trust has been abused in the past, but not enough to make her even consider changing her ways, and the perpetrators have long since been forgiven. She always forgives, no matter the offense. Personality: Addy is a very curious girl, really. She's well mannered, polite, and courteous with a strong sense of determination. She does have a bit of a temper, but is usually good at keeping it under control, though it has resulted in her being completely unafraid to speak my mind. She's a bit of a neat freak, and very mature for her age. She used to have trouble taking advice, but she's working on that. She's been called a “quaintly logical girl, sometimes even pedantic.”
History: She was raised in a conservative home with parents whom she suspects actually hate each other. They weren’t so much an arranged marriage as an expected marriage. But even though they’re a bit cold towards each other, they’ve always been loving and supportive of Addy. Well, except for their high expectations and need for her to be exceedingly well educated, but she's fine with that. In exchange for going to a public high school, though, she's not allowed to go below a 4.0 GPA. They plan for her to go to an Ivy League school, and she'll need the highest GPA possible for that.
