RIP Patrick Swayze

One of the best actors of our generation, a singer, dancer and actor died. His almost two year battle with cancer was ended today with his family by his side.

As one of my favorite actors, I thought that it would be right to put up a small tribute. So, what does everyone think about the man who was a heart-throb and an inspiration to many?

I was in shock when I heard about it. Seriously, my brother told us this evening and I said right off, "you're joking." I'm so sad that he's gone, he was just great and he will be missed.

My sister-in-law pointed out that these things come in threes. I said, 'it's not possible because the next ones, the way things have been going will be Travolta and DiNero.' That would kill me!

Well, last time it was a lot of different famous people, so I don't know. Maybe that was five and this completes the second set of three? I really hope no one else dies, seriously we've lost a lot of great people already.

And it was sad when I found out he really died. My mom told me after she saw someone write RIP Patrick Swayze in their Facebook status., and after she made sure to confirme it was true.
He was a great man.
May he rest in peace.

I will now go have A Patrick Swayze Movie Marathon.

I've never watched anything with Patrick Swayze in it, at least to my knowledge, but I must say that I wish he hadn't and:

He was fifty seven. And he was the star of Dirty Dancing and Ghost just to name two of his more popular movies.

Don't forget Road House. He was in manly movies too.

Its so unbelievable. My heart goes out to his wife and life long love. I once lost a dear friend I wouldn't begin to know what its like to loose your life partner that way.
